The Council for Leather Exports is pleased to inform that the 6th edition of the Designers Fair will be held at Chennai, India during Feb. 1-3, 2023.  The venue will be decided shortly. As in the past editions, overseas and Indian designers will be displaying their projects/designs in a fully constructed stand, for holding discussions with Indian companies for purchase of those designs. 

The 5th  edition of Designers Fair held from Feb. 1-3, 2020 in Chennai attracted 51 designers from 47 companies/ institutions and 10 countries who displayed their wide range of designs of leather goods, footwear, printed leather etc., in this event.  The designers have reported that the Designers Fair 2020 generated more than 800 business meetings.

The Council for Leather Exports is providing an attractive package to the designers for their participation in the fair.

French designers are invited you to participate in 6th edition of Designers Fair. There are no restrictions on the type of samples to be displayed in the fair. Designers can carry wide range of latest innovative samples for any season.
Kindly send the duly filled application form (copy enclosed) along with copy of your passport and product photos at the earliest.

Please note that it is necessary to firm-up the list of Designers immediately to go ahead with the event and hence your kind co-operation is requested in sending the application form. Only 35 overseas designers can be accommodated in the fair and hence your early application is solicited. Upon confirmation of your application from our end, you may book air tickets.

PACAKE FOR DESIGNERS

• Sponsorship of return Air Ticket subject to ceiling of Euro 650 for Europe and USD 800 for USA per Designer and USD 450 for Asia.
• Free Hotel Accommodation for 4 nights from Jan. 31- Feb. 3, 2023 + facility for early check-in (i.e. check-in prior to 12 noon of January 31, 2023 in case of early arrival of flights). Arrival can be planned in the morning/afternoon of Jan. 31, 2023. Only bed and breakfast are covered in hotel accommodation. Additional charges for use of SPA, room service, restaurant, bar, mini-bar in the room, gymnasium etc., will have to be borne by the designers.
• Complimentary Airport-pick-up and Drop
• Complimentary breakfast (included in hotel package) from Feb. 1-3, 2023 and lunch from Feb.1 - 3, 2023. Complimentary Dinner on February 1 & 2, 2023
• Complimentary Fully Constructed Stand of 9 sq.mtr for displaying Design Projects/ Products which will include Name Board, Spot Lights, Shelves/Rails, Carpeting, One Table and 3 Chairs. The stand will be a closed stand.
• Visa recommendation letter from Council for Leather Exports
• No restrictions on the type of samples to be carried. Designers can carry samples for the fall /winter 23 or spring /summer 24 season or any innovative and appropriate designs.
• Excess baggage if any, incurred by the Designers can also be refunded after the fair, subject to submission of receipts showing excess baggage payment to the airline, subject to a maximum ceiling of USD 200 or Euro 200 per person (both ways)

The Plastics Export Promotion Council (PLEXCONCIL) is organizing a Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM) during PLASTINDIA 2023 exhibition scheduled to be held in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India from 1-5 February 2023. We wish to inform you that this RBSM is being organized with support from the Department of Commerce, Government of India under Market Access Initiative (MAI) Scheme.

Objective of the RBSM:

The basic objective for organizing the RBSM during PlastIndia show is to invite potential overseas buyers of plastic products/machinery & mold to India. This event will facilitate the International buyers to meet the Indian Manufacturers/Exporters for sourcing products from India and also to establish marketing tie-ups and explore business collaborations. It may not be out of place to mention that the PlastIndia trade fair will portray & showcase ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’- Vision of new India as envisioned by our Hon’ble Prime Minister. The plastics industry in India has developed and diversified significantly since its inception & now it has become one of the leading sectors and significant contributor to the Indian economy. In the FY 2021-22, India’s export of plastic goods stood at USD 13.35 billion.

CAPEXIL – India’s Premier Export Promotion Council set up by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry,
Govt. of India, is organising RBSM Specials, Visit of Importers to Centre's of Production / Excellence - Morbi,
Gujarat, India during 21st to 25th November 2022.

RBSM Special is an initiative of CAPEXIL which is poised to be an unique networking event between the Overseas Importers &
Indian Manufacturer Exporters of Ceramic Tiles & / or Sanitarywares under the aegis of Ministry of Commerce and Industry,
Govt. of India.

Details of the Event :

• Date : 21st to 25th November 2022
• Venue : Morbi, Gujarat, India
• Around 15 Leading Importers of Ceramic / Porcelain Tiles and/or Sanitarywares across the Globe are
  being invited.
• One person from one company will be allowed. Any additional person to be included on payment basis.
• Economy Class Air ticket / Air fare (subject to limit as per below), 5 nights Hotel Stay (20th to
  24th November, 2022)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• One Person from One Company will be allowed
• Hosted Importers should not be related to Indian exporters registered with the EPC/Trade Body.
• Importer applying will be of the level of Director/ Partner/CEO/Senior Executive/Sourcing Agent.
• It is mandatory for all the foreign delegates to attend the entire event / all the factory visits to be arranged by the
  organizer.
• It is not permissible to leave the Hotel without intimating the organizer.
• Selection of buyers will be subject to approval of the special selection committee and respective Indian Mission.
• Foreign delegates attending the event must NOT be Indian Passport holders.
• E-ticket or Reimbursement will be provided from the capital city of the respective country to Ahmedabad & back
  on economy class.
• In some cases, organizer will cover part of the Airfare OR No Airfare (reimbursement will be done against copy of
  the air tickets
  mentioning the fare amount in USD, copy of the receipt indicating amount paid, Stamp of the Immigration upon entry,
  VISA copy, copy
  of front and last page of passport, including address as per passport).

Economy Class Airfares will be provided/ reimbursed (if ticket is arrange by the Overseas delegate on
their own) as per the following:

• From American + African Continents : Maximum Reimbursement of USD 1000 or Air Ticket Amount,
  whichever is lower.
• Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS)/ ASEAN + Middle East + Europe + WANA + NEA+ SAARC :
  Maximum Reimbursement
  up to of USD 450 or the air ticket amount, whichever is lower.
