Sub: The Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund
Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on March 28, 2020, announced the creation of the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund. All Indian nationals and organisations can contribute directly to the aforesaid Fund to help in the efforts of the Government of India to combat Covid-19. This Fund will enable micro-donations as a result of which a large number of people will be able to contribute with the smallest of the denominations. “It will go a long way in creating a healthier India”.
2. The pandemic of COVID-19 has engulfed the entire world and has posed serious challenges for the health and economic security of millions of people worldwide, including in France. In India too, the spread of coronavirus has been alarming and is threatens to have severe health and economic ramifications for our country. Therefore, building capacities for quick emergency response and effective community resilience has to be undertaken in tandem with the reconstruction/enhancement of infrastructure and institutional capacity.
3. In view of the need to have a dedicated national fund with the primary objective of dealing with any kind of emergency or distress situation, like that posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, and to provide relief to the affected, a public charitable trust under the name of ‘Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund’ (PM CARES Fund)’ has been set up. Prime Minister is the Chairman of this trust and its Members comprise of the Defence Minister, Home Minister and the Finance Minister.
4. All Indian nationals and organisations interested in donating to this newly created Fund can go to the website pmindia.gov.in and donate to “PM CARES” Fund using following details:

Sujet : Le Fonds d'assistance et de secours aux citoyens dans les situations d'urgence du Premier ministre
Le 28 mars 2020, le Premier ministre indien a annoncé la création du Fonds d'assistance et de secours aux citoyens dans les situations d'urgence. Tous les ressortissants et organisations indiens peuvent contribuer directement au Fonds pour aider le gouvernement indien dans ses efforts pour combattre le Covid-19. Ce Fonds permettra de réaliser des micro-donations grâce auxquelles un grand nombre de personnes pourront contribuer avec la plus petite des dénominations. "Cela contribuera grandement à créer une Inde plus saine".
2. La pandémie de COVID-19 a englouti le monde entier et a posé de sérieux défis pour la santé et la sécurité économique de millions de personnes dans le monde, y compris en France. En Inde également, la propagation du coronavirus a été alarmante et risque d'avoir de graves répercussions sanitaires et économiques pour notre pays. Par conséquent, le renforcement des capacités de réaction rapide en cas d'urgence et de résilience efficace des communautés doit être entrepris en parallèle avec la reconstruction/amélioration des infrastructures et des capacités institutionnelles.
3. étant donné la nécessité de disposer d'un fonds national dédié dont l'objectif premier est de faire face à tout type de situation d'urgence ou de détresse, comme celle provoquée par la pandémie COVID-19, et de fournir des secours aux personnes touchées, un fonds public de bienfaisance appelé "Fonds du Premier ministre pour l'assistance et le secours aux citoyens dans les situations d'urgence" (Fonds PM CARES) a été créé. Le Premier ministre est le président de ce fonds et ses membres comprennent le ministre de la défense, le ministre de l'intérieur et le ministre des finances.
4. Tous les ressortissants indiens et les organisations qui souhaitent faire un don à ce Fonds nouvellement créé peuvent se rendre sur le site pmindia.gov.in et faire un don au Fonds "PM CARES" en utilisant les coordonnées suivantes :
