  Bharat International Rice Conference 2026 (BIRC 2026)

The Indian Rice Exporters’ Federation (IREF), the national apex body for rice exporters, headquartered in Connaught Place, New Delhi, represents more than 8,000 entities across India’s rice export value chain. IREF successfully organized the inaugural Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC 2025) at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on 30–31 October 2025.

According to the attached Post-Conference Report prepared by global consulting firm EY, BIRC 2025 emerged as the largest-ever rice sector conference held anywhere in the world in terms of scale and participation.

India Shipbuilding Investment Conclave 2026

The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW), Government of India, invites global maritime leaders, shipbuilders, technology innovators, and investors to the 'India Shipbuilding Investment Conclave 2026' scheduled to be held on 16th and 17th November, 2026 in New Delhi. 

As part of India’s visionary roadmap to transform its maritime landscape, the Government of India has introduced a comprehensive ₹69,725 crore (~USD 8 billion) four-pillar strategy to revitalize the domestic shipping, ship repair, and shipbuilding sectors. Central to this plan is the Shipbuilding Development Scheme (SbDS), designed to establish world-class greenfield shipbuilding clusters across the nation.

The Conclave serves as an exclusive, high-level industry engagement platform aimed at accelerating the global maritime manufacturing ecosystem, promoting international collaboration, and unlocking unprecedented investment opportunities in India. Conclave Structure: 

• Day-1 (16th November 2026) comprises the investment dialogue with private, principal-level sessions throughout the day.
• Day-2 (17th November 2026) is reserved for visit to greenfield shipbuilding cluster locations. 

Reverse Buyer–Seller Meet – Visakhapatnam: 28th–30th January 2027

The Reverse Buyer–Seller Meet (RBSM) is a Hosted Buyer Programme aimed at facilitating structured B2B engagements between curated Indian MSMEs and credible international buyers, with the objective of promoting long-term sourcing partnerships and strengthening global trade linkages.

The programme series is scheduled as follows:

• Reverse Buyer–Seller Meet – Tirupati: 19th–21st November 2026

• Reverse Buyer–Seller Meet – Visakhapatnam: 28th–30th January 2027

The programme offers international buyers an opportunity to participate in curated buyer–seller matchmaking, pre-scheduled B2B meetings with verified Indian MSMEs, buyer pitching sessions, networking opportunities, and interactions with industry experts and policymakers. Selected international buyers will receive hospitality support during the programme, including accommodation, local transportation, and standard meals for the duration of the event.
