1st edition of Seafood Expo Bharat (SEB) The Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA – www.mpeda.gov.in), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Government of India, serves as the key agency for promoting seafood exports. India is one of the leading seafood exporters to the global market and is currently exporting fish products to 123 countries, India exported seafood worth US $7.76 billion during 2024-2025. MPEDA is organising international trade fairs in India to showcase its aquaculture and seafood processing capabilities. MPEDA will launch the first edition of Seafood Expo Bharat (SEB) at the Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, from 01 to 03 July 2025. It will be an annual event. The Expo will feature exhibition stalls, a Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM), tasting sessions, technical sessions, and visits to seafood processing plants and aqua farms Further. the Expo will serve as a comprehensive platform for various stakeholders in the sector, including hatchery operators, feed mill operators, aqua farmers, aquaculture machinery manufacturers, fishers, processors, processing machinery manufacturers, trading agents, technical experts, exporters, and others. The exhibition will accommodate 150 stalls with over 2,500 business delegates from India and abroad. MPEDA has a successful track record of organising RBSMs, as demonstrated by the India International Seafood Show (IISS) and World Food India (WFI). The previous edition of WFI saw participation from 34 importers across 13 countries, with 43 leading Indian seafood exporters benefiting from the event. MPEDA would like to invite interested French companies to attend this event in July 2025 and participate in the scheduled RBSM as part of the Seafood Expo Bharat (SEB) 2025. Their visit will ensure the success of this event and will further strengthen India's position in the global seafood market. MPEDA will support their visit by facilitating their travel arrangements. MPEDA will reimburse the fare for a return economy-class air ticket for the shortest route (with a maximum limit of USD 2,000). MPEDA will also arrange accommodation near the venue and extend other local hospitality during the event days. MPEDA will also support the visits to processing plants and aqua farms in India. 16th Toy Biz International B2B Exhibition The 15th Toy Biz International B2B Exhibition a huge success! South Asia’s biggest toy expo evoked a lot of interest within the toy fraternity in India and the rest of the world. With a footfall of more than 15,000 business visitors, including those from about 40 countries, Toy Biz 2024 also gathered industry leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts from around the globe to showcase the latest trends and technologies shaping the future of play. The Toy Association of India (TAI) has been organizing the Toy Biz International B2B Exhibitions every year to enable members of the toy manufacturing fraternity to showcase their products to domestic and international buyers. This is the biggest trade show for toys in the country, and it gives a wonderful opportunity to manufacturers and toy dealers for one-on-one interactions with potential buyers from across the globe. The 16th Toy Biz International B2B Exhibition is scheduled for 4-7 July 2025 at New Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam (Pragati Maidan). And it promises to be bigger with more than 400 Indian brands expected to exhibit. As in previous years, visitors from a number of countries will visit Toy Biz 2025. This year, in keeping with the slogan Mission 50: Connecting the World to Toy Biz 2025, Toy Association of India is looking at inviting visitors from 50 countries. French toy importers/wholesalers are encouraged to visit the trade fair. Foreign buyers/visitors will enjoy a complimentary stay with breakfast at a Five Star Hotel in New Delhi. The Toy Association of India will also offer a partial travel reimbursement to offset part of the travel costs to attend Toy Biz 2025. This offer applies to a maximum of two individuals per company and is contingent upon approval by the organising committee. Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM), The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) is the apex trade promotion body of India set up by the Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India in 1965. In its endeavour to promote India’s international trade, FIEO organizes various mega trade promotion activities and events in India and across the globe. During the past few years, FIEO has been actively working with the State Governments of various states of India, to formulate their Export Policy and organising other trade promotion activities for the States. One major and most effective activity in this effort is the “Reverse Buyer Seller Meet”, this is very unique form of business engagement wherein the Indian Company can directly interact with the International Buyer under one roof and strike a deal. In the past, FIEO had organised RBSM’s for Government of Uttar Pradesh during the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS), Government of Gujarat during the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, Government of Madhya Pradesh during Global Investor Summit and many more. FIEO is organising a 2 Days Reverse Buyer Seller Meet for the Government of Maharashtra on 21st & 22nd July, 2025. What is Unique about this RBSM? FIEO jointly with Maharashtra Small Scale Industries Development Corporation (MSSIDC) is organising a Reverse Buyer Seller Meet under the RAMP (Raising & Accelerating MSME Performance) initiative of the World Bank & Govt. of India. Under this initiative efforts are made to strengthen the contribution of the MSMEs’ to the economic growth of the nation and in exports sector as well. Further, this RBSM will target only MSME Indian Seller from the state of Maharashtra possessing Udyam Aadhar Registration issued by the Ministry of MSME, Government of India.
