The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion GJEPC (GJEPC) is the apex body of trade sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India to promote exports of the gems and jewellery from India.

GJEPC has been organizing its flagship annual B2B trade shows “India International Jewellery Show” (IIJS Premiere & IIJS Signature) and India Gem & Jewellery Machinery Expo (IGJME) in Mumbai for the past many years. GJEPC is proud to have successfully organised the first edition of IIJS Tritiya in Bengaluru, Southern India too.

The first edition of IIJS Tritiya 2023 acted as a catalyst for further advancement of the gem and jewellery industry in southern India, benefiting both manufacturers and retailers. We witnessed a surge in exports from this Karnatake State in Southern India. From April 2022 to February 2023, the gem and jewellery exports from Karnataka experienced a remarkable growth of 169%, reaching USD 150.33 million, as compared to last year. The show presents exporters from southern India the opportunity to take their business to the next level. Currently India's overall gem & jewellery exports account for USD 40 billion, and GJEPC's goal is to reach USD 75 billion exports by 2030.
