ANNOUNCEMENT

on providing miscellaneous consular services through e-SEWA portal

The Embassy of India, Paris is pleased to inform that the e-SEWA – Indian Consular Services System is being rolled out with effect from 23 January 2026. The e-SEWA platform enables Indian citizens and foreign nationals (wherever applicable) to directly submit applications online on the portal for miscellaneous consular services (NOT for Visa, Passport and new Birth Registration services) at the embassy. 

2. Applications must be submitted online only through the e-SEWA portal. Applicants are required to visit the Embassy in-person only for collection of the final document/ certificate, except when the submission and verification of original document is required. Payment towards the service may be made at the Embassy (presently in cash) at the time of submission and/or collection of the desired service, as online payment through the e-SEWA portal is not applicable currently for services rendered by the Embassy.
