Important information Regarding Vande Bharat Mission as on June 09,2020

Please note :

For Vande Bharat Mission from Paris, tickets for flights from June 15, 2020, may be booked directly on Air India website from 1000 hrs CET on June 10, 2020. Registration with EOI, Paris is however mandatory for travel. Those who have already made bank transfers to Air India for VBM flights, will be issued tickets by Air India. Others should book tickets online. No more Bank transfers should be made henceforth.

Repatriation of stranded Indian nationals and OCI Card holders and travel of certain categories of Foreign nationals from France to India under Government of India’s Vande Bharat Mission

1. Many stranded Indian Nationals in France have already availed the Special Air India flights under Vande Bharat Mission to return to India. Those Indian Nationals who are still stranded in France and wish to be repatriated to India under Government of India’s ongoing Vande Bharat Mission may please register at the following link:

Please note: Stranded Indian Nationals who have already registered through the link that we shared on May 25, 2020 need not register again.

2. Holders of Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) Cards who have compelling reasons to travel to India under the Vande Bharat Mission, can also consider registering themselves at the following link:

The compelling reasons for which OCI Card holders can be considered for travel to India under Vande Bharat Mission are:

  1. Minor children who are holding OCI Cards and who are born to Indian nationals living abroad;
  2. OCI Card holders who wish to visit India on account of family emergencies like death in family;
  3. Couples where one spouse is an OCI Card holder and the other is an Indian national and they have a permanent residence in India; and
  4. University students who are OCI Card holders (not legally minors) but whose parents are Indian citizens living in India.

Please note: Such OCI Card holders can enter into India on the basis of their OCI Cards; they do not need to apply for temporary visas. Those who have already registered through the link that we shared on May 25, 2020 need not register again.

3. Foreign Nationals: Government of India has permitted certain categories of foreign nationals to also enter into India with valid Visas. For details on the categories of such foreign nationals who would be allowed to enter into India, please click on the link below:

Evacuation of stranded Indian nationals and OCI Card holders from Paris under Government of India’s Vande Bharat Mission

Under the ongoing Vande Bharat Mission of the Government of India, stranded Indian nationals and certain categories of OCI Card holders are being repatriated from France to India by Special Air India flights.

Such stranded Indian nationals and OCI Card holders in Europe, North Africa, Central America and Latin America who wish to avail of such Special flights to India from Paris may please register with the respective Indian Embassies, High Commissions and Consulates in the countries that they are currently in.
